Landscaping across Webb County and the river corridor
Coverage runs three ways out of Laredo. South down US 83 along the river to Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, San Ygnacio and Zapata. North up I-35 to Botines and on to Encinal. East on Highway 359 into the old oil country at Mirando City and Bruni, with the unincorporated communities in between. Ground conditions and water supply are not the same at both ends of that range, and each page below is specific about what changes for a yard there.

Rio Bravo
The largest Webb County community outside Laredo, sixteen miles south on Highway 83 and right on the river.

El Cenizo
A small river city twenty miles south of Laredo, incorporated in 1989, sharing its name with the region's signature shrub.

Botines
Five miles north of Laredo at 719 feet, on the high ground where the ranch country starts.

Ranchitos Las Lomas
An unincorporated community whose name means the hills, on rolling ground east of the river corridor.

Pueblo Nuevo
A compact unincorporated community southeast of Laredo, first counted separately in the 2010 census.

Mirando City
An old oil town thirty miles southeast of Laredo, founded in 1921 and once home to an estimated 1,500 people.

Bruni
A ranching and oil community on Highway 359, established in 1877 and named for a rancher and storekeeper.

San Ygnacio
A river town founded in 1830 whose historic core has been on the National Register since 1973.

Zapata
The Zapata County seat on Falcon Lake, relocated to higher ground in 1953 ahead of the dam.

Encinal
An I-35 town in La Salle County named for an oak grove, on the northern edge of the coverage area.
